NA-01. What products are included?
이 항목에서 하는 일
- 이 항목은 내 제품이 5번 Nail & Nail Art에서 검토를 시작해도 되는지 먼저 가려내는 단계입니다.
- 여기서는 “손톱 외관을 바꾸는 제품”을 중심으로 보고, 단독 제품과 세트(kit) 구성을 구분해서 봅니다.
- Health Canada는 cosmetic을 skin, hair, nails, teeth의 외관을 clean, improve, or change 하기 위한 제품으로 설명하며, nail polish를 cosmetic 예시로 포함합니다.
왜 중요한가
- 네일 제품은 “네일 관련”이라는 이유만으로 모두 cosmetic으로 단정하기 어렵습니다.
- Health Canada의 examples 페이지는
– Adhesives for artificial nails, hair extensions, etc. 와 Artificial nail builders 를 “Examples of cosmetics”로,
– Artificial nails and tips used with adhesive 를 “Examples of products that are not considered cosmetics”로
서로 다르게 제시합니다. - 즉, 단독 adhesive와 “artificial nails/tips + adhesive” 세트는 출발점이 달라질 수 있으므로, 이 단계에서 먼저 구분해야 합니다.
여기서 먼저 시작할 수 있는 제품
아래처럼 nail appearance(색/광택/마감) 목적의 제품은 이 탭에서 먼저 검토할 수 있습니다.
- nail polish / nail enamel
- base coat / top coat
- gel polish (단, kit 구성 확인 필요)
- nail polish remover
- nail glue/adhesive (단독 제품 기준)
- artificial nail builders
- 이 탭은 이런 제품을 “자동 승인”하는 곳이 아니라, 네일 제품군을 cosmetic 기준으로 시작할지 여부를 빠르게 필터링하는 시작점입니다.
비슷해 보여도 여기서 멈추고 다시 봐야 하는 경우
아래와 같으면 바로 진행하지 말고 더 보수적으로 보아야 합니다.
- artificial nails / nail tips가 adhesive와 함께 “세트”로 판매되는 경우
- treat, cure, antifungal, infection 등 치료성으로 들리는 claim이 있는 네일 제품
- medicated, therapeutic, clinical 등 의학적 인상을 강하게 주는 표현
- Health Canada examples 페이지가 “Artificial nails and tips used with adhesive”를 not considered cosmetics 예시로 제시하므로, 세트 구성은 이 탭에서 단정하지 않는 것이 안전합니다.
